今年7月にリリースされた清水翔太によるフルアルバム『HOPE』の収録曲「Lazy」のSNS公募オーデションで、ASOBOiSMと共にコラボ相手の座を勝ち取り楽曲に参加したZ世代シンガーソングライターの Kouichi Arakawaが自身初となるソロシングルの「Coffee Shop」をリリースした。
自身は Instagramで「とにかくシンプルなものに拘って、自分らしい素直になれないへそまがりなバラードを作りました」綴った。ギターにはKouichi Arakawaの友人でDJ/アーティストとして活動するIm Ozonが参加した。
